Termidor^® SC

The ultimate defence against termites.

A unique, single action product, Termidor^®SC contains the active ingredient, fipronil, the result of extensive research and development by BASF. Fipronil is the first active ingredient of a highly efficient class of insecticides (phenyl pyrazoles). Fipronil takes action through blocking the GABA receptor. Hyper-excitation of the nervous system leads to death.?

Unlike other products on the market, Termidor^® SC does not contain organo-chlorines, organo-phosphates or pyrethroids. There is therefore no risk of cross-resistance with other insecticides, and no resistance to the product has yet been found.

Mode of Action:

Termidor^® SC undetectable and non-repellent, termites are unaware that they have ingested or come into contact with the insecticide. The unique ‘Transfer Effect’ means that termites act as carriers, transferring Termidor^® SC to other termites in the nest. Correctly applied, Termidor^® SC can eliminate a termite infestation within weeks.

Termidor^® SC is undetectable to termites and therefore non-repellant and more effective.

Effective: The unique ‘Transfer Effect’ brings about the elimination of the entire colony as the termiticide is passed from termite to termite through contact.

Safe: Termidor^® SC is odourless and non-invasive. As it is used at low doses, it has very little impact on the environment and its inhabitants.

275 ml Termidor^® SC per 100 litres of water.
